Cubic, Macau’s super-club, continues its series of high-profile concerts this Saturday, bringing R&B star Nelly, along with rapper Paul Wall. Nelly is famous for hit songs such as “Hot in Herre” and “Ride With Me, ” among others.

It’s that time of year again! Pumpkins are for sale, dismembered limbs hang high above Lan Kwai Fong, and spooky decorations are popping up all over the city. In keeping with tradition, the legendary ‘Dead Not Alive‘ Halloween party, hosted by the Alive Not Dead gang, will be taking place on Saturday, October 29th at Zuma.

Although there are other events happening around town, these guys take their Halloween party seriously. Previous Dead Not Alive parties have been wild fun, with a combination of quality crowd, great music and amazing costumes. (more…)

I was out of town the first time Boys Noize performed in Hong Kong. To this very day people are still talking about his set… and that was three years ago!

Darren Emerson, a legendary DJ and former member of the British band Underworld, will be playing at a special event by Japanese brands Moussy and SLY on Thursday, October 20th.

On Friday, October 7th, local promoter True Skool is holding their second rooftop Reggae event. This time titled “Jah Son and Daughter’s Party,” their last event had a house-party feel and music from the golden eras of Dancehall and Hip Hop.

As you’d expect with Reggae music, the vibe is more relaxed, people are friendly, and it’s possible to meet strangers. The outdoor rooftop has places to sit and chill, plus there’s a sleek indoor bar area in case you need a dose of air-conditioning during the night. (more…)
