Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s largest and most international music event is set to take place on Friday, November 29th, thru Sunday December 1st. The annual music festival, which was founded in 2008, is a cultural highlight that brings legendary acts from around the world to perform alongside Hong Kong’s top bands and DJs.
New-school rapper / singer Azealia Banks performed in Hong Kong as part of the Clockenflap music festival in early December. With a long mane of hair flying out behind her, she strut around the stage with the crowd jumping up and singing along.
One of the highlights of Clockenflap was a performance by British indie band the Klaxons. Performing to a large crowd and overlooking Hong Kong’s harborfront, the Klaxons played a number of their big hits including “Golden Skans” and “It’s Not Over Yet.”
Clockenflap is almost here and Hong Kong has perhaps never experienced a lineup this strong before. The two-day outdoor music festival that takes place on December first and second, has grown into one of Hong Kong’s most anticipated cultural events.
