Our friends at Ecozine.com are holding a series of major events in celebration of World Environment Week.
The main one is on Saturday, June 8th, and consists of a day-long extravaganza that features a slate of talented speakers from different fields, each talking for 15 minutes. (Think of it sort of like an environmentally-focused TED talk.)
In addition to the speakers there will also be an after-party held on the rooftop of IFC at RED, free give-aways, a green-store pop-up, and various performances throughout the day.
Tickets are required to join the festivities. You can purchase them online. Registration at the event begins at 9am, but you can join at any point during the day.
