Hong Kong Botanical Garden

Fountain at the H.K. Botanical Garden

One of my favorite small parks to chill in, located right next to the zoo, is the Hong Kong Island Botanical Garden. It’s tucked away in the Mid-Levels neighborhood and it’s a little tricky to get to. The view in this image is of the fountain which occupies the center of the park. The area itself is surrounded on all sides by buildings. It’s not far away from Lan Kwai Fong or Soho, and you can walk there in ten minutes. Amazing views of the city during the day or night, particularly of the Bank of China (designed by I.M. Pei,) the HSBC building, and The Centre.
