Graphic Airlines are the most prolific pair in the Hong Kong art scene. You stumble upon their work in strange alleyways, new shopping malls, underground bars, cool concerts and even art exhibitions. Whether you intentionally plan on seeing their work or not, chances are you’ve laid eyes on something by Graphic Airlines!
Their new exhibition, titled ‘Primary‘, is a mixture of work that features drawings as well as multi-textured terrariums. Using common objects, found materials, and perhaps a whole lot of glue, Graphic Airlines have constructed an entire series of assemblages that beg exploration.
Primary is taking over the Above Second Gallery in Sai Ying Pun for a whole month, but the opening tonight, Friday, October 15th, at 6pm, should be a who’s-who of Hong Kong’s street art scene, including fans and friends of the artists.
