Hitmaker Calvin Harris djed in Hong Kong for part three of Dragon-i’s 10th anniversary celebration. The Scottish producer, who has had a succession of chart-topping singles with Rihanna and Kelis, had Dragon-i going berserk with his songs “Bounce”, “We Found Love,” and “Feel So Close.”
New-school rapper / singer Azealia Banks performed in Hong Kong as part of the Clockenflap music festival in early December. With a long mane of hair flying out behind her, she strut around the stage with the crowd jumping up and singing along.
Blues Heroes held a fashion show at their newest store at the end of Granville Road on Tuesday night. The shop is decorated with all sorts of props and has remarkably high ceilings. Once inside the doors, it actually didn’t feel like Hong Kong at all!
One of the highlights of Clockenflap was a performance by British indie band the Klaxons. Performing to a large crowd and overlooking Hong Kong’s harborfront, the Klaxons played a number of their big hits including “Golden Skans” and “It’s Not Over Yet.”
