The Hub Hong Kong is an essential fashion trade show for brands looking to reach a wider audience in Asia and for regional buyers to discover a hundred and fifty labels all under one roof.

Last year’s launch was a major success for those who attended. Standing at the booth of a new swimwear brand, we witnessed just how many transactions took place. Buyers from parts of Asia that they had yet to explore snatched up their collection as we looked on.

For new labels, The Hub is like a highway on ramp to reaching buyers from around the region. Instead of going shop to shop pushing your brand, setting up a booth at the show allows buyers to browse your merchandise and come to you!

From a retailer’s perspective, it’s much more convenient (and inexpensive) to do a season’s worth of buying all in one place, than have to fly around the world meeting with each brand individually. Particularly for medium sized shops, The Hub represents a way to save money and efficiently discover new inventory.

Even in their first year, The Hub produced a lineup of important brands – a mix of well known names and exciting up and comers. Likewise, the trade fair featured both international brands and local designers from China, Japan, and South East Asia.

In addition to business opportunities, The Hub includes free industry talks on trends and best practices that are packed with information and helmed by fashion insiders.

Outside of the fair, there are free events organized by The Hub to allow attendees to network. Brands also throw their own parties each night, allowing buyers and sellers to meet and continue the deal making after the trade show ends for the day.
